HBAnyware Appears on Remote Servers in the SAN

Situation:

HBAnyware appears on remote servers in the SAN.

Resolution:

To prevent HBAnyware from appearing on remote servers in the SAN, do one of the following:

• In Windows, disable the HBAnyware service.

• In Solaris, disable the rmserver process.

• In Linux, disable the rmserver process.

Disabling this service or process prevents the local servers from being seen remotely.
